New beginning

2. treningsøkt 2 uker etter keisersnittet BB.jpg
The 25th of April my second son was born. He is a perfect little boy and it is really a true miracle becoming a mom once again! I had a planned c-section this time – and it was a very good experience. Normally 6-8 weeks rest is recommended after a c-section, but I really don’t have the patience waiting that long. 13 days of rest was enough for me! Starting exercising this early, you need to listen closely to your body - only lift light weights and avoid exercises that cause high pressure in the abdomen. Read more

Apologies for the late update of the blog. I got tired of the Swedish weather and took my family to Cyprus. Just to eat and spend some time together. Of course, I booked a hotel with a gym. As usual, the hotel gym rarely quite perfect, but this gym contained everything I needed. The most macho thing, was that I needed all the free weights in the gym for my benchpress session. Of course i did my rest-pause training and is really perfect when you are shourt on time. So when my kids went to sleep at noon, I spent a 30 min in the gym. Read more

May

Last month, on April 28th I competed at the 2012 Orlando Europa Show and Expo. This marked my second professional competition in the IFBB. My prep was rough; involving grueling workouts and intense cardio with most meals consisting of tilapia and asparagus. But I knew what I had to do to get my body into proper shape for the show. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! Life’s about making small sacrifices to get to the greater good! It was a little easier than the first show because the first show was 3 thousand miles across country and it was a water loading and no carbohydrate day on the plane making it a hellish and tiring trip. Long time since ...

Everything is going as usual and by that I mean good! I have not made any major changes in my training for a while. Feels like I am waiting for my preparation for SM to get started. Last year I started to prepare for SM in late July, but this year I feel I want to try to start earlier. Anyway, it's just a thought, I would not be surprised if I stand there once again with two months left .. :) Right now I work out 4-5 times a week and it looks like this:Day 1: Chest / ShouldersDay 2: Front Thigh (quads) / CalvesDay 3: Back / HamstringsDay 4: Biceps / Triceps / AbsDay 5: Starting over again Right now I listen a lot to my body and how it reacts and what response I get from every day in the gym. Last days in my off-season

Picture1.JPG
The last days in my off-season I spend in Spain. On April 27th I flight to Madrid to photograph Mr. Pro Europe for Finnish BODY Magazine and give my helping hand to Finnish body fitness star Mari Päkkilä and Finnish bodybuilding Champion Kimmo Hovilainen who competed in European Amateur Cup, a pro qualifier contest held with the pro event. Mari is very sweet person and I was honored to help her with contest preparations backstage. I met her last year at the Finnish Championships where she got second place and I got the fourth place after her. Read more

Shit, it's been a while since I wrote here! I'll give you a quick update about it all. I'm doing great!I've been to FIBO in Essen, was working for Olimp and SmartShake, it was an awesome weekend!I'm on my 10th week of Fighter Diet and have lost 7,8kg. I'm ready for the weight-in in 10 days, for the European Championships in Poland (-70kg).I came home from another job in Japan the other day. I did two more episodes of the TV-show I took part in, in February. This time I had to beat 8 men which I did pretty easily :-)Since I work as a personal trainer at a gym now ( best job ever ), I train many times, every day. Read more

Like for me awesome co operation company´s which makes my training / prepping so much easier. I feel privileged and so thankful for all my sponsors and their support.Hopefully this autumn season is my time to show how far I can go and which kind of progress I can achieve with hard work, determination, great coach, support of family and sponsors! PASSION

RIMG0237.JPG
I really believe that everyone should have a passion in life!! Fitness has been my biggest passion for many years now, and that passion have guided me towards everything I accomplished in the fitnessworld. Without that passion, I would never had reached all of my goals. A big passion for something, makes an even bigger different on which way you'll go. If you do something because someone else want's you to do it, because its's cool or just because you "have to", it will never give as good results as if you do it out of passion. Read more

Offseason is so on!!

josephine.png
No more competitions, no more photo shoots, no more diet! It feels great but at the same time a bit strange. I've been living this way for so long now that I almost forgot all about what a "normal" life is like? I guess its gonna take a while to adjust to this kind of new lifestyle, but I now its gonna do me good! My next goal is the Swedish Championships 2013. Which means a whole year to improve my weaknesses! Im gonna focus on my legs, the quads need to grow a lot! Besides getting better and stronger in the gym my biggest focus is the other important things in life! Such as my family, friends and work! Now its  time to live life to the fullest and really appreciate every day. Read more
